Food: good & not too long Service: not good, wrong item received (emphasis on this), waitress didn't know how to input Red Robin Royalty Recommendation for a person with a small appetite: Red's Tavern Double Burger (comes with unlimited fries, though very small portion) Recommended beverages: soda or freckled lemonade (they both have free refills) and the freckled lemonade is just right, not too sweet.

After living in Colorado and falling in love with Red Robin there, we were excited to see our new home in Sioux City had one. The first time we tried it they were busy, but we were used to Red Robin being busy. It was very disappointing, incorrect orders, lack of quality we had been used too. Figured it had to be a fluke and gave it another try. A little better but not up to our expectations from past experience. Over the last few years we kept trying and hoping for better and have had a couple good experiences but the bad ones far outnumber the good we quit complaining and just quit going altogether unless the kids really want it. Inconsistency, poor quality standards and not living up to the Red Robin experience. There's a lot of places to get a $11 hamburger, do yourself a favor, try the burger menu at Soho.

Don't have a Red Robin were we are from so we decided to stop by while passing through. Can't speak to any food other than there burgers, but there burgers were good. They were huge, piled high with toppings, and a challenge to eat. That challenge was worth it because the burgers were awesome. On top of that Red Robin offered endless fries which was great for trying all the different dipping sauces they had. We were fans of the Campfire Sauce. Service is the most important thing while dining out to me. Service was excellent. Our drinks were always full and we didn't even had to ask to get more fires, they just showed up right when we were about to run out. We went later at night when it wasn't super busy so we can't speak to rush time service at all. Only negative we saw was that the appetizers seemed rather expensive and those who ordered them didn't get very large portions.

Ok, now, Ive eaten in Red Robin restaurants in California and other places and found them to be wanting. This one here in Iowa is superb. The food came out hot. The service was superb and I will definitely go back again. The service was great. My water glass and coffee cup was never empty.

Raw hamburger. Seriously raw. I ordered the gourmet cheeseburger and it came to me cold I and slightly browned. I took a bite and spit out the mush instantly. Our party of five had our order arrive in sets. The first meals arrived and ten minutes later the others. When I returned my burger, another 20 minutes. I had them cancel my order. No bottomless fries like I requested. No iced tea. When it did arrive, I sent it back it tasted so bad. The 3 chocolate milks...all white milk with just a slight hint of chocolate syrup on the bottom. No forks or napkins. I spoke with manager and she fixed our bill and compensated me. I nevet did eat. I had cereal when I got home. So disappointed. This had never happened to me before...Red Robins had always had it together. Won't retun for quite some time.

The food is good, but the service is lacking personality. We were seated right away, and our food was quite tasty. We experienced zero issues, but my opinion is that this restaurant is mediocre. The staff seemed to be on "auto-pilot", just going through the motions. I did not see one person even so much as crack a smile. We did have to wait 29 minutes from the time we ordered our food until it finally arrived even though the restaurant had more wait staff than actual customers. I will return again, but next time I will have lower expectations.

First impression wasn't good at all. Cleanliness of all items served to us is one of the most important things when eating out. Our silverware was something that should never be put on a table of paying customers. We had to request new silverware 4 times and finally the waitress must have went and re cleaned what was already wrapped, the glasses were so spotted that it was just a turn off to have to drink out of. Now on to the food. Our burger was basically tasteless, no seasoning at all, it had what looked like bacon on it, but sure didn't taste like bacon, the ciabatta bun wasn't toasted. The spinach and artichoke appetizer was very good, all though the chips were dripping with oil. The manager spent all his time walking around and probably should have been making sure silverware and glasses were coming out of dishwasher clean. We paid $50 for lunch that wasn't worth half that, specially in the Midwest! Bottomless fries?? I assume that means all you can eat, but we were never offered more.

Well, the Santa Fe burger was axed about 4 months ago with a menu redo. So, I had to opt for the new Burnin' Love burger with fried jalapeno rings. Do you think that sounds good? Well I hope so, 'cause it was damn tasty! And I love the fact that RR will serve a burger with some pick. MMMM! : )

I won't even give this place one star it was that bad. When we first walked in the hostess had to see if there was a table available, even though not even a quarter of the place was full, she took our drink order and we didn't receive it for 10 minutes. Was never offered, or got, a booster seat for my 2 year old. We ordered the onion rings for an appetizer and got those in a decent time frame and was the only thing we got that was hot but when We got our food we didn't have any silverware or napkins. My boyfriend asked for a beer and he never got it and our server disappeared for 10 minutes. We asked for more napkins never got them. We waited for our food for 30 minutes and when we got it nothing was hot all the food was cold the fries, the burgers, and the chicken. When the server asked how things were I told him everything sucked he asked if I wanted him to remake it I told him no and that I wanted to talk to the manager. When she came she also asked if I wanted my food remade I again said no and that I just wanted the check so I could leave. She then thought she would try some more damage control and offer me dessert and I said again no I want to leave and I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for some dessert. The table next to us had the same issues and had to speak with the manager. The server taking care of the table behind me left before her tables were done and didn't let them know until the new server came and asked them if they were ready for their check. The service there is just absolutely ridiculous and I will never go back there or recommend it to anyone. The manager apologized again and again and said herself that it wasn't that busy and we never should have waited for anything. Do not waste your time or money there unless you're in the mood to be disappointed.

Where do I start? The food is good here but the service is something to be desired. I guess I don't understand how hard it is to bring the right stuff to your table when they write it down. Then they act like u are bothering them when you ask them to correct it. Would not recommend this based on service and will not be coming back as this is not the first time this has happened.

We stopped tonight, the last Saturday before Christmas, expecting all the restaurants to be packed. We were seated immediately and our order was taken right away. Our waitress was really attentive, and checked back frequently. I am a vegan and this is one of the few restaurants in town where I can eat, let alone have several options. Good food and good service, very impressed for a chain.

Great selection of burgers. My wife and I both ordered the Whiskey River Burger. We normally rant and rave after eating one. This time they messed up and gave my wife the more rare cooked burger and the server identified it as well done. After 2 bites into it we told the server and she said "would you like me to put it back on to cook more?" wow..... Imagine someone taking your $10 burger and scraping mayonnaise off of it to cook it more. Not impressed with the customer service. I shouldnt have to negotiate for the right answer to a situation like that. 2 stars for a decent menu.

Decided to eat here with some family on a Sunday afternoon and the place wasn't busy by any means. We walked in and waited about 5-10 minutes for a hostess to greet us and take us to our seat. We waited 15 minutes for a waiter/waitress before we decided to walk out. My previous experiences have been satisfying with the quality of food. But it will be awhile before I try it again after this incident.

First let me say that I love this restaurant. It is one of our favorite places to eat. You can substitute a boca or garden burger for any burger on their menu. The prime chophouse made with a boca burger is delicious. The fries here are amazing dipped in the garlic aioli. Everything just tastes good. But, the service here is terrible every time. I do not think it is the fault of the servers themselves and I have never blamed them for it. It doesn't matter what time or what night you visit on, the servers are always running around and very busy. It seems to me that this restaurant is short-staffed and the tables are spread out too far for the servers to be able to take care of everyone.

We don't have one back home, which is ridiculous because it's actually like 1.5 hours away. (57103) However, my husband and I love stopping by one whenever we are by Sioux City. The burgers, chicken sandwiches and fries are amazing. You can't go wrong with the California Chicken Sandwich!

Love the food here! The bonzai burger and chophouse are my favorite. My wife likes the whiskey river chx and that was good. If it were hair about good food, five stars. Service is so so. Slow and portions on fires have gotten incredible small. The are bottomless but they don't come back until your burger is nearly eaten. I'll come back again but will ask for more fries once my order is brought to my table.

Normally a chain restaurant isn't my first choice, but in this part of Sioux City, you don't have much choice. I did become a fan of Red Robin once I found out they ban the sticky, screaming, puking, pooping crumbsnatchers from the bar area. YES!!! My server, Amy, was great. Right away she took my drink order and asked if I had any questions about the menu. I had ice tea and the Southwest Chicken Salad. This is a great salad full of fresh lettuce, some dark, some iceberg, chopped vegs, black beans, grilled chicken, tortilla strips....sounds pretty standard, right? Well, then they garnish it with some fried jalapenos, which normally I can handle in moderation. Well, at least the menu says fried jalapenos, but those things were H. O. T. HOT. Wowee. Those are some turbo-charged peppers. If I could have had a cold adult beverage, that would have been ideal, but I still had a little more work to do and can't do that with the magical combination of malt, hops, and yeast on my breath. I would eat that salad again anytime. Great experience overall.
